A reminder of my mission

Don't Die
Don't Die

My mission for the last 20 years has been to de-stigmatize addiction and the treatment process. The shame around this disease is unparalleled. Fifty thousand young people die every year from drug-related causes and there is little being said or done about it. Like subliminal racism, there is a deep, secret animosity towards addicts.

I am on a mission to expose this prejudice so we can come together without all the fake civility and get down to the real nitty-gritty of addiction.

I am on a mission to reveal the cookie-cutter charade that is addiction treatment in America.

I am on a mission to help people understand that we didn’t get here by accident. The opioid epidemic was premeditated by big pharma and Wall Street.

I am on a mission to help understand where we are at, to talk about the lost soul of America, and where we will end up if we don’t change course.

I am on a mission to share my fear for the kind of world my children are growing up in.

Let’s let truth and love and conversation replace hatred, misunderstanding and confusion.
